Comfy Missed the staff - a waiter at the downstairs restaurant served as a receptionist
One of the best places I've stayed in the UK. Staff was extremely friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was wonderful: quiet, but still walking distance from centre of town. Baffled, frankly, but the mixed reviews, because we thought it was a hidden gem. It's quirky, but that's hardly a negative to us.
A very tidy functional hotel. The staff were very polite and efficient. The only niggle was the TV struggled to keep a good signal so was a bit patchy reception.

This is a no frills accommodation. There’s no reception. There’s nowhere to stow luggage if you’re early. Check in is manual. You use an actual lock and key. It’s not for everyone. If you need a cheap private room with a bath, it works well. The hallways are clean and renovated. However, everything’s a little tired inside the room. Walls are thin (you will hear your neighbors). The most redeeming part is the incredible location. Jericho is an amazing neighborhood to go out in.
Clean cheaper then some. Had two rooms with a shared bathroom in its own unit so was fine for thr five of us.
Had a lovely stayed in Jericho hotel great location. 10 mins walk to center. It’s a simple room above the restaurant, bed comfy , bathrooms renovated with shower. Breakfast isn’t included. Staff at the restaurant are very helpful, polite and welcoming Check in - at the restaurant do not come before the restaurant open as you cannot access to your room or any facilities. Parking - on road parking around the hotel is for permit holders only so I use JustPark app, parked at William Lucy way it’s so convenient 10 mins walk by lovely canel path.
Can not fault this place - the management are amazing - the place is 5 min walk from center of Oxford. It’s not the Ritz - it does not pretend to be - it’s perfect for price, location and staff. Great stay - will be back soon!!
